What if a vendor needs higher limits than $1M / $2M?

Can a vendor with food service use this program?

No. Food, beverage, on-site cooking, and other higher-risk vendor categories need a different product. We can place that coverage too. Contact us to route to the right program.

Does the organizer earn anything from vendor purchases?

No. The organizer's benefit is purely operational: zero certificate chasing, dashboard visibility, professional certificate compliance. State insurance laws prohibit rebating to non-licensed parties, and we structure the program to be clean of those issues everywhere we operate.

What is the Vendor Liability Program?

The Vendor Liability Program (formerly Subscribed Vendor Program) is a separate standalone program - not a coverage under Special Event Liability and not an endorsement. It can be set up independently from the organizer's own Special Event Liability policy, which does not have to be placed through Direct Event Insurance. The program is a one-link enrollment workflow that gets every vendor at your trade show, expo, or convention onto their own AM Best-rated general liability policy. Standard limits are $1M per occurrence with a $2M shared group aggregate, as low as $100 per vendor depending on the number of vendors, event location, and event type, paid by the vendor. Direct Event Insurance is the licensed broker; coverage is placed with AM Best-rated insurance carriers.

What the coverage covers and what it does not

Every enrolled vendor at your event is covered under a shared group policy. Each vendor gets $1M per occurrence, meaning every single covered incident (a guest injury, property damage, a slip-and-fall at a booth) is covered up to $1,000,000. The aggregate limit (the maximum the policy will pay across all enrolled vendors combined during the policy period) is typically $2M shared across the group. If your event needs more group-wide capacity, we will review that during program setup.

This is a shared group aggregate. It is not separate per-vendor coverage. For most low-risk trade show and expo vendor pools, the shared aggregate is more than sufficient. If your event has a large number of vendors or your venue requires per-vendor independent limits, contact us and we will recommend the right structure.
